Using Doppler to store client credentials

We’re building an integration platform and need to store credentials (username/pw) for different platforms, so our system can connect and extract data. I know we could use Doppler to store encryption keys, and store the encrypted credentials elsewhere.

I was wondering if we could store the actual credentials in doppler, through the rest API. This would allow us to take advantage of access logs, permissions etc, and not having to deal with secret rotations, encrypting/decrypting etc. There could be thousands of accounts connected.

I don’t want to exploit Dopplers pricing model or misuse the platform. What’s your thought about it?

Hey @benjamin and sorry for the belated reply.

This is an interesting use case and I’ll reach out privately to set up some time to discuss further.
